2008 Events
Veterans Day and Airborne Forces Weekend Full Details here - Including an Accommodation List for Portsmouth There will be a SAMA Stand at this event and the SAMA Standard will be on Parade both days. Bring your Blazers, Ties, medals and berets and March in the Veterans Parade on the Saturday. If you are a Para you may wish to March in the Paras Parade on the Sunday as well / instead. For you bikers, there will be a drive through of bikes on the Parade on both days (Vet bikers wearing Berets, and Medals on their bikers jackets, of course) - so bring your bikes along and a tent to sleep in on site. Please come along and support this event which is going to be bigger and better this year and bring all your family and friends. I will have my caravan on site by the SAMA and SSAFA stands all weekend, You can stow your gear for the parade in it if you wish. (Only a small liquid charge in the Pegasus Bar will be made) Joe Erskine |
