Back in the mid 1970’s whilst serving on HMS Kent there arrived a young fresh faced JRO. As was always the case he was welcomed onboard in the usual fashion. This was the very young Bernie Still. As the years fade so does the memory, but I can remember him as a young lad who was always laughing and willing to muck in and do his bit. I will always remember him.
