Taken in hand at Southampton 19 April and modified to serve as a logistic/troop transport by fitting RAS gear, satnav and satcom equipment, freshwater generating plant, and additional quarters and domestic facilities.
Sailed via Portland 22 April with equipment for 2 Para, 29 Battery RA and 656 Squadron Army Air Corps.
Left Ascension 7 May with the amphibious task group which joined with the carrier battle group before the landings at San Carlos.
Anchored in San Carlos Water 21 May.
Unloaded under air attack and on completion rejoined the carrier group.
On 25 May discharged all remaining personnel and stores in San Carlos.
Three weeks later entered Port Stanley and loaded for home, sailing 23 June.
